Autumn has always been one of my favorite seasons. The woods and forests take center stage this time of year and make everyone look up and take notice. New England in particular in autumn shines in oranges, reds, yellows, browns and greens.
It’s a beautiful time of year to drive on the Merritt Parkway and see some of Connecticut’s amazing fall foliage.

Drive further north into New England into New Hampshire during autumn and you will be treated with a such a colorful sight.

I love autumn for its colors, the way the air is crisp and makes you want to drink mulled cider with cinnamon. I love the weather that autumn provides, the cool crisp air that makes you want to wear big sweaters and tall boots. I love the smell of fall leaves, pumpkins and apple cider.

I love the traditions and celebrations that happen during the season: football season, my daughter’s birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving and my birthday – autumn is always filled with fun, family and festivities.
