Mimi’s Pizza & Restaurant was at 84th street in Lexington Avenue in New York City for decades. I grew up a block away and Mimi’s was my family’s go-to pizza place. Although the awning says and restaurant, Mimi’s originally was just a small pizza joint with a small counter at the window with a few stools if you wanted to eat-in, but people mostly did delivery. Afterall, this is New York City – everything gets delivered.
